Privacy Policy

CE Training LLC, a Nevada limited liability company ("we"), runs ce-training.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, who sees it, how long we keep it, and your choices. Contact: support@ce-training.com.
1. Who this applies to
Licensed professionals using CE Training in the United States. The site is for adults (18+). It is not for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have, we delete it. (COPPA does not apply to a service for adults only.)

3. Where it comes from
You, your device, and our service providers (for example Stripe for payment confirmation).
4. How we use it
To provide courses, verify identity, report completion to licensing authorities, process payments and refunds, send service emails, prevent fraud and cheating, keep records the law requires, improve the site, and answer legal requests. We do not use your data to build ad profiles.
5. Who we share it with
- Licensing authorities (the board that licenses you), to report your CE completion or for audits, as the rules require or you ask.
- Service providers that work for us under contract: Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), Cloudflare (hosting and storage), our live-class video provider. They may use the data only to serve us.
- Legal and safety: to follow the law, a subpoena, or to protect rights and prevent fraud.
- Business sale: if we merge or sell the company, your data may transfer under this policy.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context advertising.

We delete or de-identify data when the period ends.
7. Security
We use encryption in transit and at rest, limit staff access, and keep logs. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects you we will notify you and regulators as the law requires.
8. Cookies and tracking
See the Email and Cookies Notice. We do not use advertising trackers.
9. Identity photos
We confirm your identity by having a staff member compare your identity photo with your photo ID. We do not use face recognition or automated face matching, and we do not create face templates or other biometric identifiers. See our Identity Verification and Photo Consent page for details.
10. Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on your state you may have rights to know what we hold, receive a copy, correct it, delete it, and opt out of sale/sharing, and not to be discriminated against for exercising them. Because we do not sell or share, there is nothing to opt out of today. We will honour these rights for everyone, as far as board record-keeping rules allow. To ask, email support@ce-training.com with the subject "Privacy request". We will confirm your identity, and reply within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent. If we decline, you can appeal by replying, and some states let you contact your attorney general.
11. Notice for California residents
In the last 12 months we collected these categories: identifiers (name, email, IP address); customer records (license information, payment confirmation); government identifiers (license numbers, ID images); internet activity (page-visit counts); professional information (license, renewal); and the contents of communications with us. Some of this is sensitive personal information (government ID, biometric). We use it only to provide the service, verify identity, comply with law, and prevent fraud, which are uses that do not require a "limit the use" link. We do not sell or share personal information, and we have not in the past 12 months. We keep it for the periods in section 6. California residents may request to know, delete, correct, or opt out (above). We do not offer financial incentives for data. Our policy on the Global Privacy Control: we treat it as a valid opt-out request, though we do not sell or share.
12. Other state notices
Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws (for example Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas) have similar rights, handled as in section 10. Nevada residents may opt out of the "sale" of covered information; we do not sell it.
13. Nevada privacy notice (NRS 603A.340 and NRS 603A.345)
This section is our notice to Nevada consumers under NRS 603A.340, and it applies to everyone who uses our site.
- What we collect and who we share it with: the categories of covered information we collect through our website are listed in section 2 (for example name, email address, license number, and the other items there). The categories of third parties we may share it with are listed in section 5 (licensing authorities, service providers working for us, legal and safety requests, and a buyer if the business is sold).
- How to review and request changes: signed-in users can see their account details on their Account page. To review what we hold or ask us to correct or change any of your covered information, email support@ce-training.com with the subject "Privacy request". We will confirm your identity first. Where licensing rules require us to keep an original record (for example a completion record), we will tell you and keep a note of the correction with it.
- How we tell you about material changes: we post the updated policy on this page with a new effective date, and we email registered users about material changes before they take effect.
- Tracking by third parties: we do not allow any third party to collect covered information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use our site. We use no advertising, analytics or social-media trackers. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives technical information such as your IP address and browser type when your browser loads them.
- Effective date: shown at the top of this policy.
- Nevada "do not sell" requests (NRS 603A.345): our designated request address is support@ce-training.com. Use the subject "Nevada do-not-sell request". We do not sell covered information. We will still record your verified request, never sell your covered information in the future, and respond within 60 days of receiving it (we may extend this by up to 30 days and will tell you if we do).
14. "Do Not Track"
We do not track you across other sites, so our site behaves the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.
15. Changes
We will post updates here with a new effective date and email registered users about material changes before they take effect.
