Service emails (transactional). When you have an account or buy something, we send emails you need: confirmation of sign-up, receipts, class links and reminders, course progress, certificates, changes to your account or membership, security notices, and legal or policy updates that affect your account. You cannot unsubscribe from these while you have an account. They are not advertising, and we keep promotions out of them.
Marketing emails. We do not send marketing or promotional email. If that ever changes, we will ask for your permission first, and every such email will identify us, include the postal address the law requires, and carry a working unsubscribe link that we honor within 10 business days. We never sell or rent your email address.
To unsubscribe or ask a question, email support@ce-training.com.
Cookies and tracking
We count visits without tracking cookies. Our own system counts page views and general information such as which page was visited, the referring site, and browser type. It does not set cookies, does not follow you across websites, does not build advertising profiles, and does not keep your full IP address.
Cookies we do use. Some small files are needed for the site to work, for example to keep you signed in and to protect checkout. These are "strictly necessary" and do not track you for advertising. The only one we set is a sign-in cookie (lma_s), which keeps you signed in for up to 14 days and is removed when you sign out. Stripe may set its own cookies on its checkout pages; see https://stripe.com/privacy . Our live-class video provider may set cookies during live classes. When you sign in, we set one essential cookie that keeps you signed in; it is not used for tracking or advertising.
What we do not do. We do not use advertising or social-media tracking pixels. We do not sell or share your personal information for advertising.
Browser signals. We do not track you across other sites, so Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals do not change what we do. We treat a Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out request anyway.
Changes
We will post updates here with a new date.
